The Flood and Noah

5 "And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. ...

... 7 And Jehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the ground; both man, and beast, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens; ... 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah.
   - Genesis 6:5-8  (ASV)

23 And every living thing was destroyed that was upon the face of the ground, ... and Noah only was left, and they that were with him in the ark. - Genesis 7:21-24  (ASV)

Sodom and Gomorrah

24 Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire ... 27 And Abraham rose early in the morning [and went] to the place where he had stood before Jehovah; 28 and he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and lo, a smoke went up from the land as the smoke of a furnace. - Genesis 19:24-28  (Darby)

Son of Man

22 Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened. ...
38 For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, 39 and they didn't know until the flood came, and took them all away, so

will be the coming of the Son of Man."

31 When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
